Something about me...

Passionate about victorian England and all things historical my interest in costume sparkled from a really patient seamstress grandma teaching me the basics of sewing to a whirlwind of period gowns for reenactment and dress up events in Italy.

Trained at Northern College of Costume under the supervision of Pauline Chambers and experienced professional costumiers after making the big jump on the other side of the English Channel, I landed working in places that I could just dream about like Birmingham Museums Trust, Royal Opera House and Bristol Midnight Costume Services.

Where my next adventure will be?

When not sewing for the stage or experimenting new tailoring, millinery or mixed media techniques, I can be found wandering around castles, National Trust properties or enjoying the lush English greenery, sipping tea with a nose stuck in a novel or comics, at random dancing classes or (guess what!) watching costume dramas.

Yes, sometimes I remember to eat and sleep too.
